Doncaster Council is proud to be one of the Ambassador
Authorities for the Love Where You Live
campaign.
The council aims to inspire individuals, businesses,
groups and organisations to think about their communities and take
personal responsibility for the local environment. Across the
borough the aim is to get 14,000 people and 150 organisations
involved over the next three years.
Councillor Cynthia Ransome, Cabinet Member for
Communities, (pictured above in blue top) said: "Love Where
You Live is all about empowering local people to take pride in
their communities.
"Doncaster Council works tirelessly to keep the borough
looking its best. We all have a responsibility to care for
the environment and make sure it is not spoilt by litter, or
anything else for that matter."
Keep Britain Tidy Ambassador Kirstie Allsopp said: "I
wish Doncaster the best of luck with their Love Where You Live
week of action and encourage all local people to get behind the
campaign."
