Recycle for Hampshire leads the way in encouraging
local residents to back Love Where You Live
To support the Love Where You Live campaign, Recycle for
Hampshire is championing local community groups and litter pickers,
as well as encouraging local residents to join the Love Where You
Live, where they can sign up and nominate somewhere they love, pledge
to improve their local area, or register an event to receive litter
picking kits. Read more about the campaign or see what other
groups are getting up to.
Recycle for Hampshire is the joint environmental
communications campaign for all 14 local authorities in
Hampshire.

The
Recycle for Hampshire team also plans
to work with local schools to promote litter
picking in their grounds. Councillor Leslie Keeble,
chairman of the Project Integra strategic board said: "We know that
residents and community groups across Hampshire are already out
making where they live better places through activities such as
litter picking and community clean-ups.
"By working with Love Where You Live we hope to offer them
some well-deserved recognition whilst encouraging other local
people to get involved and make a positive change in their
areas."
We've put together a short video below
featuring Hampshire residents talking about what they do in
their local area and why they love Hampshire.
Keep Britain Tidy Ambassador Kirstie Allsopp said: "I wish
Recycle for Hampshire the best of luck with their Love Where You
Live work and encourage all Hampshire residents to get behind the
campaign."
